Could any one can help me in getting a value from Test Director ( say TC_ID ) using WinRunner script.
I can give you two paths to investigate:
1) Read up on the TDAPI commands you can link into (would require creating a dll)
2) Investigate the TD Database and perform sql statements to pull the information out
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
Doesn't WR have TD_ functions? (I'm fast forgetting my WR stuff).

The other functions there are
I'm dissapointed. I'm afraid I have reccomend that you re-read the forum guidelines: README BEFORE POSTING. by devtester: Running TDAPI from WR. Tch, Tch.
well, in my defense, we had issues using them since upgading to Quality Center. They changed their API enough that WinRunner doesn't seem to connect into them as easy as that.
This is why we compeltely abandoned any use of them from WinRunne and just look for what we need by directly querying the db.
