I am trying to automate a web based application using Winrunner 7.5 and I have couple of questions here
1. I have used the function web_browser_invoke function to automatically open the web browser in my code all I want now is to check if that web page is alredy open.If the web page is already open then close that web page and execute the web_browser_invoke function(Just like checking if the win_exists = yes then closing the window)
2.Does the Winrunner 7.5 Support testing on Java Application or not
Luk, we don't do ASAP here. Your emergency is not ours.
1. I don't understand your difficulty.
2. Yes, if you have the Java addin
3 (which you didn't ask, but I am) - why are you running such an old version of WR? If your web-based application is going to run on IE 7, and/or you are running WR on XP SP2, you are going to be in a world of trouble.

It's really not that trivial of a question, Peter. You can do win_exists on the web frame, but this won't give you the physical description of the Browser which contains it (which he wants to close).
I reccomend killing all browsers before web_browser_invoke.
Use pskill from system internals (now Microsoft)
Thank You for the response Peter.I do have access to the Winrunner Tutorial and the user guide.I know the basic of recording and playback the Flight application.I am trying to test a web based application using winrunner. That is the reason why I tend to ask stuppid questions.
