Writing results to a QC test case from WinRunner
I'm working on a contract where the client wants a data driven framework to run all of their tests. All of the test cases are in QC now, and the datapools for the framework for each test case are attached to each of the test cases. We can get the attachments fine, and the tests will run, but all of the results in the test lab are reported under the framework run. Since multiple different test cases can be executed on each run of the framework, the client wants to have test results in the test lab for each test case individually. (Not sure if I'm explaining this well. LOL)
Anyway, I found the TDAPI calls and started trying to use them without a lot of success, and I've now found that they are no longer supported, and many of them do not work. This is my first experience with QC, so I don't know much about it. Does anyone know how, from a WinRunner script, to add a run to the test lab in QC and populate the pass or fail for each step in the test?
If there is a thread on this already here, please point me at it. I wasn't able to find it.

The best way is through a dll.
You will need Visual Studio 6.0
