Can anyone explain the uses of reserved words in winrunner....it is mentioned in TSL online that these are reserved words but i am not getting the usage of those words i want to use them and how will they help in general
That is bit help full but like...let me explain you the scenario
static table_name = login.xls
lang = get_lang();
if (lang == "JPN")
table = file_path & "\\" table_name_jpn;
table = file_path & "\\" table_name;
# Using the file_getline function to extract the data from the external file
# Check to see if the Flight Reservation Window exists. If it does close it.
if (win_exists ("Flight Reservation") == E_OK)
here "table" is not defined as variable...but if i comment the "lang" row it will not take values from database...can you please explain this and use of reserve words in bit detail.
okay i got the mistake..thanks bpolitzer..also i cae to know if i am taking values from login.xls then that file should be closed....it was open and when i run script it was not taking values when i checked....i mean
but i came to know about get_lang funcion after exploring much...as i am new to this...is there any document which explains functionalities and usage of all the reserve words..as in TSL online and in User Guid it is just listed that these are reserve words thats it
it seems there is no such description...well i was looking for obj_check_enable..kind of....but from reading tutorial...i am now using obj_check_text..now stucked into loops...which i possibly think come out in considerable time....i have to work on my skills more...
