I am getting Sharing Violation Error (E_SHARING_VIOLATION (-10041)) while trying to open an Excel Sheet.
rc = ddt_open(gtable, DDT_MODE_READWRITE);
Any Idea of why this problem is present.
I am using WR 8.0 and Microsoft Office 2003 SP2
Because the table is already open - either by Excell or by another WinRunner instance.
I have not opened my Excel sheet either by Excel appl or by WR.
When I take a fresh file initially it works, after that if I do some changes in the file manually then while running WR script I am getting this error.
Are you sure you aren't leaving it open in WR? If you are accessing it, you are opening it with WR even if you state you aren't.
Is this a file that is shared across the network? Could someone else have the file opened or accessing it remotely?
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
This could happen if the length of all of your headers in the data file is too long. I think the maximum is about 780-800 characters.
