Client application is located on Terminal server and i am recording script using winrunner. So i have to record each and every events of Terminal Services client. But Winrunner consider Terminal Server as an Object. I am not able to put any check point or verification points in my script for an application because Winrunner captures only co-ordinates for application.
So let me know how to put verification points in the script?
Since you didn't go into much detail on how you installed it all, I am going to assume due to what you are seeing that WinRunner is installed on the local system. This will not work.
You need to install WinRunner on the Terminal Server which the application runs on. There is also some other stipulations you are going to run into. You will need to make sure the profile you are using has administrative rights to the session, and you will have to run the application in Desktop connection mode and not pushed out presentation.
WinRunner needs to be on the same system and within the same session as the AUT as this is the only way for it to link into the application for object identification.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
