In my application,i have a field which is a cross mark (initially). After i add some features to that (application specific) and save that,it will become a tick mark.
Right now i am using bit map checkpoint to check this particuar property.
But we have one more validation to be done for this object. Before i click on the Save button this object (cross mark) will be in red and after saving the features, this object will become green (tick mark).
How can i test the color property of an object.Pls let me know.
Solution resides in your question itself....Bitmap check point means it includes colour and cross mark wahtever you are capturing....so again capture the bitmap for future usage with color and cross mark as well.
other than the afore mentioned bitmap checking, there is an option available to you through the CSO function library from Mercury.
The base CSO lib will install a function called get_pixel_color(). You will need to get the handle to the object you want to check through one of the XXX_get_info() functions first to pass to the get_pixel_color() function, but if you can peg down the coordinates of the color you want to check in realtion to the object, this will get you a CS set of commands instead of relying more on something like a bitmap check.
