My Winrunner script will take the input from 5 excel sheets and script will be run 5 times i.e. for each excel sheet.
Now i want to write a code in which all the excel sheets will be run one after another and i want to save the test results in to separate files. Is there any mechanism/way to generate the reports for each and every excel sheet.
My problem is already code was written in such a way that it will prompt the user to select the one excel sheet to be executed. I wanted to know is there any function to print the results separetely for each and every input excel.
I think i confused you people, what i meant was after completion of execution, for test results we will select tools->test results then WR will display results window. Is there any mechanism to access this test report file.
In the General Options, under Run. Click Advanced and there should be a check box with the title "Write test results to a text report" or something along that line. This will put it in a word pad file and you can see the difference between the different executions. When you get used to how it prints things, you can bold certain areas as you wish or any other type of formatting from it. But its all together a good format. I use it all the time to print my results and give it to my boss.
