I am trying to parameterize data present in a drop down using an excel sheet to perform data driven. The drop down has about 1500 values and when I try to select a value thats some where in between its not able to read that value cause it is able to see only about 15 values, which are the ones that are seen as soon as you click on the drop down with out scrolling.
Could anyone help me on how to fix this please.
how exactly are you going about trying to select the item from the drop down? (code snippet?)
Is the control a standard control?
What technology are you using? (WEB/VB/etc)
What is your version of WR?
What is your version of Windows and Service Pack installed?
How are you going about parameterizing? Are you trying to check the contents of the box or make sure you can select each of the items in the list and checking another field? I am not sure why you would go about parameterizing a single control 1500 times......
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
well mine is a client server application using WR-8.0. I am not trying to parameterize 1500 values its just that each time I run the script I want to select 10 different values from the drop down list and put them in the excel sheet and run the script so that I dont have to manually select them. Depending on the kind of selection that is made here other fields keep changing.
I hope I you got what I trying to do here.
I am basically trying to data drive it. This is C based technology. And I am not very sure if it works ,its just a trial.
About selecting the item thought would pick any 10 values and put them in an excel sheet before running the script so that for each iteration it picks up one value from the list available in the combo box.
