Re: How to test the dynamically changing objects in webpage?
Welcome to understanding objects that change in WinRunner!
This has been asked many times here, and I'd like to tell you if you had just searched you'd find where it was discussed, but unfortunatly I think it has been asked so many times that all your searching would do is produce threads that told you to go search again.
Look into physical descriptions of objects with the User's Guide and Tutorial. Specifically:
User's Guide, Chapter 7 - Editing the GUI Map, with specific sections of "How WinRunner Handles Varying Window Labels" and "Using Regular Expressions in the Physical Descriptions"
Tutorial, Chapter 2 - Setting up the GUI Map, with specific sections of "How Does WinRunner Identify GUI Objects?" and "Spying on GUI Objects".
Go through those sections and take the basic information they are giving and look at the objects you are trying to work with. Findt he differences, and then work a way to have it globall recognized.
Once you give it a try, we'd be happy to help you work through a solution, but just asking us how to do it isn't feasible as the answer isn't possible to a vauge question like that.
