Checking text using obj_get_text
Win2000 & WR8
I'm having a problem with obj_get_text while testing a delphi app. One form contains a number of text boxes and if any of them contain certain letters or combinations of letters then when WR does a grab of the form you see the relevant boxes go blank as the text is captured. If you look at the output of the obj_get_text then the fields seen to go blank are blank and all the other text is captured fine. The problem seems associated with the letter M, if M is in one of the boxes then it's not captured, if it's N or P etc then it works fine. I've had no problems with text recognition until now, it just seems to have stopped working.
I've also installed WR8 and WR8.2 on new machines and they do the same thing. I know it's not my app as it works fine on other versions of WR running the same code.
Any ideas as I'm struggling here...
Re: Checking text using obj_get_text
I've had the same problem since WR76 on both Win2K and WinXP using obj_get_text() against a StingRay grid list object. I can watch the obj_get_text() run and "see" the M disappear when the command is executed...very strange stuff.
Did you ever get a resolution to this problem?
