Help image link is there, on clicking on it, it takes to the help page which has four links at the top, first link page is displayed by default. it displays the sections it contains on its left side, and on right side it displays the description which in between contains some hyperlinks, which need to be tested. structure is not very complicated, but too many links and each opens in a new window (static pages). thats why going for automation. need a test script to follow.

The company wants "Without accepting recording and playback,to write TSL scripts with functions."
I am also confused what sort of functions that i can use here.Should i use these functions in the above context.
1.web_browser_invoke("path of the html page",browser) - This invokes the browser
2.web_get_text - to find text from a web page(hml/xml/jsp etc).
If i not can anyone suggest some functions that will be helpful.
either way - it sounds like you may need to become more familiar with WR to accomplish what has been placed in front of you.
From what I can gather with the minimal information on the request, they are asking for your company to develop a type of framework or consoliadated function scheme at the least to prevent the traps of R/P maintenance in a complicated application.
The functions you listed will be used to gain access to the application and pull in information, but you will more than likely have to create your own compiled modules to overcome the issues with recording on applications with many windows with the possibility of changing.
