Defining Plumtree/Web Menus
I am currently doing some scripts for our companies' intranet portal which was developed using Plumtree. I am having an issue with trying to click on it's equivalent of a menu item. Basically, there is an html_text_link that appears as a .gif image (just a rectangle with menu name as text). When you click on this image a popup (html_table) is displayed with menu items.
My issue is that I can't properly define/click on these menu items. WR see's my main html_frame and the html_text_link and can click on it to expand it, but when I spy on the popup html_table with the menu items, it doesn't see it as in the same html_frame. The word 'server' is appearing in the Window Name field of the Gui Spy and the object name is 'action_new'. I'm assuming there is some sort of server side script generating this.
Does anyone have any ideas or know of a way I could handle this? I have tried getting the value of the cell (just to see how WR see's it) using a tbl_get_cell_data and using the table's physical description in place of the logical name as well as the row and column of the item I want (got this from Gui spy tool tip). I keep getting a parm out of range error though.
I upoaded a screenshot of what it looks like expanded:
Short of clicking on coordinates, which I really REALLY don't want to have to do....I'm stuck.
Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Defining Plumtree/Web Menus
I guess this problem arises when the objects used are not from standard classes.
One of the way to solve this problem is by using obj_find_text to get the corresponding coordinates of the Menu item and make the mouse click by obj_mouse_click on the retrieved coordinates of the menu.
