I am using WR 7.6 with IE 6.0 to record a test script.
When I replay this script in Debug mode, a Run Wizard dialog box prompts "WR cannot find the OBJ "Usersmanagement". I use the hand button in Run Wizard dialog to find the OBJ manually.
Well, I finish this replay, and then I open the GUI Map Editor dialog. However, It still tell me "Object is not displayed. Cannot Highlight".
It makes me feel so frustrated. I re-replay this script again. But Run Wizard dialog box prompts "WR cannot find the OBJ "Usersmanagement" again!
What can I do, can someone help me?
Any sugestion would be highly appreciated! Thanks for your time!
In training, a process is noted for identifying the variable components of a GUI object defintion and addressing them. The odds are, for one of the standard attributes, you have a variable component - something that is changing from one execution to the next. The classical example of this is Word, where as soon as you load a document, the main title bar changes to include the name, "Word - <document name>." Yet, if you didn't account for this variability in your GUI Map, then you would likely have a similar error, "WR cannot find the object 'Word.'"
Refer to your training material and users guide for information on addressing variable GUI Object attributes
