hi again i already asked the same question but nobody answered me. when i run tests - GUI - from some scheduler then most often the iexplorer starts only as a process. even this morning although the sheduled tasks - this time i used windows's scheduler - didn't run - i guess problem is in the windows scheduler - and i have closed all programs yesterday - in the task manager i see 6! iexplorer processes and no GUIs. I usually use the box remotely. Anyway an somebody help me or at least some suggestions???
If you're on XP and you're connecting remotely, maybe they are running in a different user environment and you can't see them. Try this locally with no remote or use something like VNC ( www.realvnc.com ) to remote connect instead of XP's remote desktop. XP's remote can cause problems with licensing and processes.
Hi, I posted it in WinRunner but they didn't answer. So I am with Windows 2000 Advanced Server,
well I am working at SAP and testing the J2EE server. So through a locally made program NTSrevice I am calling ant task, one of its targets calls WinRunner or TestPartner and runs the tests. Yet, the tests can't run because the IE starts as a process but with no GUI and they can't click. This intervenes with the unattended procedure. I did some updates of the windows but no luck. and the problem comes only when I run the task from a shedule otherwise evth is fine!
