Winrunner supports databases with its db_* functions. Contact Mercury for more information about the specific databases or do a search on this site under WinRunner or on google.com You should find your answer
I am learing this tool now, and when ever we start with some tool we will be given with general requirements what that tool needs and what can it incorporate with. In that case I dont see any specifi database support from WinRunner, is it that I missed it or, doesnt WinRunner support different datatypes like MS-Access, SQL, or Oracle, some thing of that sort, to retreive data.
Now another question has started up, if WinRunner can retreive data from any of the databases.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">Yeah. Jake is absolutely right. Winrunner is connecting to database with the help of Data junctions and Data source Names. These interface components should be in your machine. For example, if you want to access your Oracle Server database, Then you need the driver and Oracle client in your local machine..........This is applicable, not only to winrunner, for all programming languages....
