Advantage to upgrade to 8.0 from 7.5
Ok let me preface this post by saying that I did a search before posting and did not find any satisfactory answers.
We use WR 7.5 for our testing. We have PowerBuilder 9 and . NET applications both of which WR is not great for.
My manager wants to know if there is any benefit in upgrading to WR8 and is there enough benefit to justify the cost of upgrading the licenses which he says are substantial. What do you poeple think? Remember the apps that are being tested.
Re: Advantage to upgrade to 8.0 from 7.5
.net and Powerbuilder 9 (explicitly, it does support PB, I just have never found it that effective with it) are not supported with V8.0 of WinRunner either:
Gives the options open to you via the Mercury Tools, so i am not sure how hard a search was done as the above URL was the first hit on google with "winrunner powerbuilder .net"
Oh and please do not post multiple versions of the same question, some people are know to act adversely to this as it is goes against the forum rules.
