tbl_activate_cell will double click in the specified cell, while tbl_activate_row will double click the row. Details on both, as well as all other available table functions, can be found in the help file.
Not so - the problem is that tbl_activate_cell and tbl_set_selected_row and most of the tbl functions are not available for html_tables. I just tried tbl_set_selected_row and as I expected it gave its message about function to available for this widget class. The help on web functions says:
The following table functions are available for WebTest:
tbl get cell data Retrieves the contents of the specified cell from a table.
tbl get cols count Retrieves the number of columns in a table.
tbl get column name Retrieves the column header name of the specified column
tbl get rows count Retrieves the number of rows in the specified table.
Hence my problem.
So, any other ideas anyone?
Surely somebody else has needed to do this at some point!?
Good try, but nope - our function is already doing a web_obj_get_child_item and if there are physical properties returned it temporarily adds it to the GUI map and there is no problem to click on it. However, most of the time with these tables there are no physical properties returned (ie there are no edit boxes), and it is this case we are trying to solve...
