Running WR scripts on different machines

I have tried running the WR scripts on a different machine in my office(Same O/S - XP, same resolution etc.) but for some reason it does not seem to recognise certain windows/buttons.

All tests were recorded in the 'GUI map file per test' so I shouldn't need to load up a map on the new machine for it to recognise the objects.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Marc

Use the gui spy on the unrecognized windows / objects on both machines. Copy and post the physical descriptions from the gui spy's on both machines.

Re: Running WR scripts on different machines

I have used the gui spy on both machines and it is recognizing the exact same objects as used in the scripts.

Are there any files that are saved onto the machine in which i recorded the scripts that contain info about the GUI maps?

A wait statement leaves room for many better solutions.

    Marc,

Are all of the settings (such as display, title bars, etc.) the same on each computer, including appearance such as classic Windows vs XP?

    How about file/path/folder references?
