Stingray Tree control question
I would appreciate it if someone could guide me.
I have a Stingray tree control, which is learnt as a standard list by Winrunner 7.5 with Stingray add-on. We need to do find that items exist in the list and that they do not exist. list_select_item works fine when we need to a "exists"; but for doing a "not exists" check list_select_item would return an error. Earlier we used to work with such lists by doing a list_get_count and then iterate thru the count and a list_get_info. Now with the stingray we cannot use a list_get_info for a count property; the read me for stingray suggests we use a list_get_items_count function, which does not seem to work in our environment.
Question is : how do I do a "not exists" verification in this situation without getting a context-sensitive error return?
Thanks for your time and help
Re: Stingray Tree control question
The read me file for version 7.6 of the Stingray add-in says that the list_get_items_count function is now supported for tree objects, implying it wasn't supported in previous versions. Perhaps this is why it doesn't work for you.
If you upgrade Win Runner to 7.6 or 8.0, then upgrade Stingray to 7.6 you might be able to do the "not exists" verification in the way you're accustomed to doing it.
