    Testing Web applications in Winrunner

    Hi,

I am trying to test web applications in Winrunner and the GUI map is not identifying the objects and locations in the html frame. Even if the application is correct I am not getting it right. Plz post the appropriate answers to this problem.

If the GUI map is not identifying the objects, then check the object properties in the GUI map editor.

Also, you can Map the object(generic object) to one of the standard objects in the GUI map editor.

Did you click on the Web-Test in the add-ins?

Yes, I clicked Web-Test in the add-ins. If i select from the drop down menu in the record mode, and run it, it is working. But if I type in the address bar it is not working while running.

Did you read the readme.wri file?
Do you have the correct versions and patches for everything?
