    Object not unique

What does the error "OBJECT IS NOT UNIQUE" mean?
How to overcome this type of error?

    Re: Object not unique

It means more than one object exists (in the currently set window) with a physical description that matches with the object in the gui map.

The way to overcome this is different depending on the type of application. If this is a web app, usual strategy is to use web_obj_get_child_item to get the runtime phsical description of the object in an HTML table.

If you're testing a windows app, spy on both objects with the gui spy, choosing the All Standard properties (not just Recorded). Look for a property which distinguishes the two objects and which isn't changing. Some likely candidates are x,y, MSW_id, and nchildren. Properties to avoid are abs_x, abs_y, and handle (due to the fact that they're constantly changing).
