I'm doing test audio as wav files, I mean I'm testing the content of the voice file(in my situation the voice is speech). Thus, I think I have to use a proper software to convert the speech to text and compare the text then. However, I think that way is not the best way.
May you give me another solutions for my situation or strategy? I'm using WinRunner 7.6. If you don't have the solution, I really need your comment what software I should use to convert speech to text.
Thanks bpolitzer for quick response. In my situation is actually telephony messaging testing.
I mean, I have to simulate a person who answer the calls, send a voice message to another people or mailboxes. So I have to test the commands or prompts on the switch which are sent to calling.
It's really difficult for me to perform manual testing because my assignment is automation.
So, please help me for giving me the strategy
Maybe the developers can help you to gain access to the name of the WAV-file currently being replayed (they could write it into a log file or print it on the screen, just for testing purposes). So you just have to test the correctness of the sound files once (and manually) and then use automation to test if the sounds are being replayed in the proper situation.
And maybe you can also use WAV-files for sending voice input into the system.
