I have some confusions regarding win runner.
Why we write new code for testing?
We can review developer code in lesser time.
How can we use win runner in effective way.
Can anyone clear these points? i will be thankfull
Re: Winrunner benifits?
Just curious: Do you think that reading & analysing some thousand lines of developed code will be enough testing to ensure that your program doesn't contain any bugs...?
What about regression testing? Develop a set of automated tests and let them run with every new version of your program. It helps you to test that the major functionality of your program will still be available in the new version...
And one last advice: Your question is not really WinRunner-specific, it's about automated testing in general. You might receive much more answers if you would post it into the General Discussion or the Automated Testing forum...
