Can anyone tell me how to maintain winrunner scripts for a multi-lingual application. Say, I have WinRunner Suite for an application in XXX Language. Now, a new version of the same application comes out supporting YYY Language in addition to XXX language. Now how do I create Automation Suite for the application for YYY language. Should I create a new suite and do all over again? Is there any best way to reuse the current suite for XXX language?

You may want to have a singular GUI map load at the beginning of the script, just enough to ascertain whether the language of the app is say, French, English or Spanish... then load the appropriate GUI Map for the objects with lable attributes in the alternate language.
Been there. Done that. Ordered Pizza and watched the suite execute with the new language build.
Thanks much for your suggestion. I shall try it out and give you the feedback.
But for changing the GUI Map to suit the new language, I should run my WinRunner Scripts in debug mode for the new language using the GUI Map created earlier and keep modifying the map to suit the new language. So ultimately I can save it as a Global GUI map for the new language.
Am I right? I have around 100scrips & Iam using a single global gui map for all of them.
