    How to check if the menu item exists ?

    Mine is a VB application, I have to tally the number of menu items in a particular menu.

    How do I check their existence including there enabled/disabled status ?

    Please give your inputs.

    This is the sample code to check whether a menu
    item exists and is enabled.this may give you an
    idea.make sure to add menu items to gui map.
    it checks whether menu item open is displayed in the file menu and is enabled.

    </font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">

    set_window(&quot;TestWindow&quot;, 1);
    menu_get_info(&quot;file&quot;,&quot;count&quot;,c ount);

    menu_get_item (&quot;file&quot;,i, menu_label);

    tl_step(&quot;menu existance&quot;,0,&quot;open menu exists&quot;
    menu_get_info(&quot;file;open&quot;,&quot;enabled& quot;,enabled);

    tl_step(&quot;menu enabled&quot;,0,&quot;open menu enabled&quot;

    }</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">Thanks
