That's pretty harsh. I am looking for an answer to the exact same question, and I already know about tl_step, and have spent plenty of time searching the help. tl_step is overkill for my needs, but I guess that's what I'll use. It looked like error_message was what I was looking for, but that doesn't write to the test results.
Why are you responding 3 months later with a rebuke?
If you notice there a lot of questions posted here and other forums by people who haven't taken the time to look for themselves or even try it themselves first. They want to post a question here and receive completed code back that will do their work for them. They do not learn anything and cannot even explain (in many cases) what the code does.
After years on these forums, perhaps some of the more experienced users and contributors do get a little jaded, but, then they have probably seen this a lot more than you have.
Quality is the result of a carefully constructed cultural environment. It has to be the fabric of the organization, not part of the fabric.
