WinRunner to LoadRunner Script Conversion
I have an existing script written out of WinRunner (web pluggin) that updates a series of webforms. How easy would it be to import that script into LoadRunner in order to execute it? From what I understand the GUI file concept is not there, so the actions may have to be re-recorded. But what about the logic (the if statements, do whiles, etc that I have added)?
I am trying to guage the LOE required to go run this WinRunner script out of LoadRunner.
Re: WinRunner to LoadRunner Script Conversion
LoadRunner can launch WinRunner and have it execute scripts as well as recognize transactions. The downside is that you can have only one WinRunner instance per PC installed.
To convert to a LRunner script is a different issue. I think in most if not all cases, it is simpler to just re-record the script using VuGen.
