Here is a problem I am suffering from. During test case preparation we have created a GUI checkpoint on window. This check pint has file name list1.ckl. The file is checking some property say (x, y position of the dialogue box). Now during testing we don’t want to check the location of the dialogue. To do this we have to do it visually from win-runner interface.
I want to do it through code so that I can skip certain property to check without changing its check file.
Re: Skip certain properties listed in GUI Check file
This really isn't feasible. By definition, the checklist defines what properties to check. You could edit the .ckl file through the file_ functions, but the expected results need to match the checklist. In other words, the test would need to be run in update mode. I would reccomend skipping the gui checkpoint. Capture the information you want to verify with _get_info functions, and use tl_step for PASS/FAIL status. For example, suppose you wanted to verify the height of your dialog window = 283:
