Diffrerence between the treturn and texit
I am learning the user guide. It has been mentioned that treturn returns the control to the calling test and texit aborts the script entirely. It has also been mentioned about the optional expression which can be given to both trerurn and texit.
I have tested it . For treturn the value is returned to calling tests and for texit the value is not returned and aborts.?.Then what is the purpose of the optional expression in the texit statement.
Could any body explains me why is it happening and also the difference with the explanation?
Thanks in advance.

An example of when to use tretrun is when you have a test that calls another script. When the called script is done, you want to return control the the original test.
