i have to modify the physical description of a html table so that it contains html_name of the table but when i modify the description as follows and save it....
html_name: "\! ATTENTION"
....i get an extra backslash in the desription automatically like follows:
html_name: "\\! ATTENTION"
i thought the "\" is needed because "!" is for regular expression. but i dont understand why WR would add that extra "\".
i would like to know what is the work around for this.
Thanks a lot,
No work-around needed - that's the way it works (correctly).
I am sorry for not specifying it earlier but then WR doesn't recognize the object and the test fails.
Have you happened to try it without the backslash?
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
yes i did try it without backslash and it doesn't work.
If the exclamation point in the name is something unique to this one window, you can also try using a regular expression to disregard the character from the html_name property.
use this, GUI_buf_set_desc_attr();
take the tsl online help.i am giving example here
I have tried using a regular expression like this
but doesnt work. I also tried with different combinations but no luck!!!
Any suggestions how I can modify the regular expression further.
Thanks a lot.
How about this:
html_name: "!\! ATTENTION"
html_name: "![!] ATTENTION"
