    Re: Web based application

Most people launch the web browser from their scripts. You learn the web-based objects the same way you would with any other application as long as the Web Test addin is loaded.

As a general rule, any window/object that WinRunner interacts with will need to be in the GUI Map, so you'll need to learn them using the GUI Map Editor or have WinRunner learn them as you record. Using regular expressions in your window/object physical descriptions can often minimize the number of windows/objects you have to store in your GUI map.

    Best of luck!

    Re: Web based application

    Thanks for the info.
Actually what i was looking at is like since we dont have Rapid test script wizard, do we need to manually record objects in GUI.Also there would be number of pages with the same name in a typical web based application.
Which one is the best way to do that..Please suggest.
    Thanks in advance....
