Objects based on echo framework
As anyone worked on Echo framework objects.
It is a web-based application which uses Echo Framework.
The objects in the application are dyanmically generated, I am facing a lot of difficulty automating them as the identifiers keep chaging and the all the objects on the frame have more or less similar identifier, If regular expressions are used, winrunner shouts saying that the objects are not unique.
The objects neither have a label, attached_text nor locator or index on which they can be identified.
They have only three properties
As see in the above example in html_name, E_C_a remains constant while the numerical part gets changed and all the objects on the window have more or less similar physical description except for change in the class property.
Please help if anybody has worked such kind of applications.
Re: Objects based on echo framework

you can use x and y cordinate if the UI is not gona change FORSURE...or else is just a waste of time....
so u used winrunner for that?...how did it react to it?
let me know if u find anything that can solve the problem.
