how could one connect winrunner to telnet so that one could see , read and write to telnet window???
You can use tcl/expect tool to automate telnet related activities..

There is a work around, Try using PuTTY instead of Telnet, This is a freeware.
Winrunner recognises this session.

I will also encourage you to use putty. Its the best tool and winrunner reads the text displayed. U just have to use win_get_text() and done. Although u have to use other functions like match, compare_text, trim, left etc./
