Is using query\'s frequently OK in winrunner

    Hi,
I know we can use query's in winrunner.I do web testing and to test according to some conditions i need to write many queries. So my doubt is will there be any problem in running my scripts in future because of the queries. Some times i use 2 ,3 queries in the same script.I am concerned about it.What kind of precautions can i take to avoid any db function problems from occuring.

    Thank you.

If the database changes (rows, columns, type, etc) then there may be a problem if you are querying these. Suggestion: Get on the distribution list of people informed of database changes.

    1. If you connect then you disconnect
    2. if you open then you close
    3. if you change then you commit
    4. have rc = E_OK whereever possible
