exiting a function without terminating main script
Can someone tell me how to exit a function after validating a condition, without completing execution of the function and without terminating playback?
I call a function, check a condition and if true, want to immediately return to the calling script without continuing execution of the function, and without terminating execution of the main script.
"exit" is a reserved word but I can't find any info on it. Continue and Break only work in loops. texit terminates playback. Help?
Re: exiting a function without terminating main script
return E_OK; (or whatever you want to return) will break you out of the function and pass back to the orignal function. I try not to do that too often as it makes functions quite hard to debug.
