Need ActiveX TreeView commands.
I a new to WinRummer so please forgive me if my question doesn't make sense. I am trying to get WinRunner to manipulate my ActiveX Treeview. I need it to expand, collapse, check child count etc. My problem is I can't get it to click on the proper branch. I have tried numerous commands but to no avail. Has anyone come across this and is there any command I can use to get it to work?
Thanks in advance,
Re: Need ActiveX TreeView commands.
I finally got the help file for hte treeview. It contained a list of all of the activeX commands that could be used against the tree view. After some trial and error I got it to work.
It looks somethng like:
public function ClickTreeBranch(in strSrch)
#Find the string and return the index of the branch
ActiveX_activate_method("Softelvdm.TreeCtrl.2","Fi ndStringExact",NodeIndex,InitIndex,InitColumn,strS rch);
#get the cell position in twips
ActiveX_activate_method("Softelvdm.TreeCtrl.2","Ge tCellPos",RetVal, NodeIndex, InitColumn, xLeft, xTop, xWidth, xHeight, xSpan);
#click on the branch after converting twips to VB pixels
I had to divide the x and y coordinates by 15 because the function returned them in twips.
