whether we can specify Gui_load statements in Compiled Modules....
If not what is the reason??
Any tips should be greatly appreciated
In a compiled module, you are limited to declaring functions and constants. If you want to load a GUI map from a compiled module, you'll have to do it from within a function. Then you can declare a constant to be equal to the return value of that function (resulting in the function being called and the GUI map being loaded). The following is an example:
Hope this helps. If you work a lot with compiled modules, you might be interested in the new Function Manager tool that I will be releasing in about a week. It includes the ability to easily load GUI maps with your compiled modules as well as many advanced features (such as a built-in editor, automatic creation of Function Generator TSL code, and ability to generate WinHelp files to integrate with WinRunner's TSL Help). The URL is a little out-of-date at the moment, but you can follow that link to see when the product will be available.
