i am testing b/s software,on the IE winrunner doesnot capture the webpage's html element, how to do?
i need help,it's better give me some documents, here give some advise too!
1. Make sure your version of WR supports the browser/version being tested. There are patches available at the Mercury support site for certain combinations that do not work "out of the box".
2. Make sure you've selected to load WebTest as part of your WinRunner start-up.
3. Make sure you launch the browser after WR is started, preferably via the web_browser_invoke() function.

Intially when i am using winrunner i too faced the same problem.
the only solution is u first open winrunner, then gui map editor and then u open browser.
I am sure u will not face this problem in future if u follow this methodology
