Did you go thro' Winrunner's User Guide..?
Breakpoints are used to break the execution temporarily at that particular line. Usually Breakpoints help to debug the script. Toggle breakpoint means change the current state of breakpoint....
Thanks & Regards,
To add further, Run in Debug mode, and put in break points to follow execution of the script. Another useful feature is the watch list to which you can add the variables and watch how there values are changing. Very helpful feature indeed.
hope this helps,
Thanks for your replies. I have still one doubt. When I was implimenting Break In Function on edit_set function which was in script. It is giving an error message "Function "edit_set" is not defined. Cannot set a breakpoint".
What is its solution ?
Check On-Line help for:
Optional parameters for "system module" or "user module". This affects using Break points in Function's (Compiled Module).
Also you may Not be able to use brake points in a Function that is used by an "Exception Handler". (system calls function)
Select Brake Points from Debug menu and select In Function, "you must use the Function Name" which will place a break point at the first point in the Function (that will work). Then you can add more brake points once you get to the Function.
Also turn off "Run in Batch Mode" in the "Run" settings of the menu. If it is ON nothing will stop your script, "pause" won't work, etc.
