can someone help me?
Re: Chnaging system resolution and color depth
You can use WinRunner's utils test from
<WinRunner install directory>\samples\utils\colormap
This is Header of colormap test
--------- init_sys_colors ----------------# SUMMARY: This function sets the colormap that exists during bitmap capture.
# DESCRIPTION: During update run this function stores the currernt colormap
# in a file: syscol(+system).txt under the exp dir. It also stores current resolution, display drive
# and font type (large/small) in the file: sysset.txt (also under the exp. dir).
# During verify mode run, the function first saves the current colormap under
# exp/cur_col.txt. Then it sets the colormap to the inital one to avoid mismatches
# during bitmap verifications. The function also verifies that system settings such as
# the display drive, screen resolution and font type are identical to those existing
# during capture (update mode run).
# Init_sys_colors uses a dll called "myext.dll" whose c-code: myext.c is located
# under this test.
