    Re: About WinRunner Add-In Manager

    Dear Rani,

    If your question is after starting WinRunner you are not sure whether the required Addin is selected and you want to load it.

    One solution is check what are the addons that are selected using
    getenv("ADDONS");
    and check the required addon in the result string.
    If that is not found , load the addon with by running corresponding init script.
    Say you want to load WebTest addin which is not selected while starting WinRunner you can do it by calling webinit() script in your initial script.

    Hope this will serve your purpose

    Regards
    Siriyal Reddy E

    Hi,
    If you select different addins, after starting the winrunner you have to restart winrunner. Otherwise you couldn't access the corresponding functions.
    Default addins selections are stored in wrun.ini file.

    Re: About WinRunner Add-In Manager

    Hi Palani,

    I have checked doing the same as Mr. Siriyal told. And i didn't find any problems doing so. And i need not restart WinRunner after executing those add-on startup scripts. So it works perfectly. And after calling the corresponding scripts for checking the add-ins i could access all the corresponding functions without any problem.

    Regards,
    Rani.
