I had a script in SilkTest that would send each letter from an ASCII table to an edit box. The goal was to make sure the edit box would only accept numeric input.
I am trying to reproduce this in WinRunner and I am having some difficulty. It seems the only way that WinRunner recognizes the octel code is if it is stated explicitly (printf "\123" rather than with a variable (printf mychar; where my char = "\123".
I have tried various combinations of escaping the quotes and the slash without success. Anyone else tried this or have a better way to do it?
