select html links through script
I have a data file of salesperson numbers.
My application has an input text box for sales person names, but I cannot directly type in their names.
I have to click on the lookup icon next to the input box. Another window pops up with the sales person numbers as links. On clicking them, that sales person gets selected and is populated in the input text boax and the pop up window closes.
I need a sample script that takes as input the file above. Based on the sales person number that is entered in the file, selects that sales person number from the list in the lookup pop up window.
How can this be done?

You have to be more specific in what does your listbox, in your pop up window contain, just the saleperson number in which case it would be easy , just use the function,
If it has just the salesperson's name, or it has both the salesperson's name and number. Please be more specific.
