    Dynamic names recognition

    Hi,
I have multi set of text boxes with dynamically changed names:
    Set1: txtAddress13513_1
    txtAddress23513_1
    txtAddress33513_1 and so on...

    Set2: txtAddress13513_2
    txtAddress23513_2
    txtAddress33513_2 and so on
    .....................................
    Setn: txtAddress131513_n
    txtAddress23513_n
    txtAddress33513_n

So important part of the name is alpha part plus first number and the last part with undescore with number.

I changed physical description in GUI file like "!txtAddress1...._1",
    "!txtAddress2...._1", "!txtAddress2...._1" and so on.
    I also tried "!txtAddress1.*_1".
    Then when I executed command
edit_set("txt_AddrAddr13519_1",ClientGroup_ResAddr ess1); object was not recognized.

    Where I am wrong?
    Please help.
    Thanks.

    Yuriy

    Re: Dynamic names recognition

It looks like your regular expressions are accurate based on the descriptions you provided. When you make this change to the physical description in the GUI Map, does the GUI Map Editor recognize the object? If so, make sure your GUI Map is properly loaded and that 'set_window' statements placed in the proper locations in your script.

If this is your statement, you have an extra underscore after 'txt'. In fact, it seems completely muddled.

Sorry, second undescore is just typo.
