Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I am having some difficulty in recording an application coded in .net through a telnet window. I am using WinRunner 7.5 and running on Win2000. WinRunner only recognises the telnet window and nothing else within it. Can someone please help me with this.
It seems Winrunner can only capture the primitive actions within the Putty window.
such as click(), typekeys().
objects can't be recognized. so more actions, such as verification(checkpoint) must be done manually,since actually, there is no object recognized within the window at all!
Isnt that whats been done before and people who've been here for a while tell the "newbies" to use the search and find their answer? Then ofcourse in somecases, some people have teh same issues as the original poster in an ancient thread. You really cant have your cake and eat it too on a forum
