Dear Users,
While using java_fire_event function, I was getting the following error message in the report,

"java_fire_event"_jco_java_lang_Class Error: General Error

And also in the application console, I got the following Exception,
!! MicIf GenCall: Invocation error: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
Method: int mic_if.GenericFunctions._fire_event_rep_func(java. lang.String[])
Target: mic_if.GenericFunctions@4cd21c
Params: 12
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: argument type mismatch
at java.lang.reflect.Constructor.newInstance(Native Method)

To analyse the problem, I did jad ( Converting to java file) for some of the files present under JavaAddIn/classes/utils and JavaAddIn/classes/mic_if directory. Finally I found that "Object" I have mentioned in the java_fire_event function is not a component(java.awt.Component). I could not get this info from the error message of the report.
While going thro' the source file, I found that there are so many debug statements. It will be easy to track the issue, if the debug is on. Does anybody know how to make the debug on.

And also WR does not capture the above said problem.
