Trying to call from a list for a repeated lookup from a vendors <non-searchable> db.
Easy in SQL, tough in TSL.
Ex: 5000 bakeries, all but a few offer Rye bread. We can query each bakery individually, and say 'got Rye?'. I need to generate a list of 'no Rye' bakeries.
So heres this BIG list of bakeries, and a lookup script running in a propritary term app. I can setup a 'got rye?' easy.
I don't want to do this 5k x. How to point TSL to the list and say, try this next, if true go to next, if false log false, keep going.
This should be done by the Vendor as a data warehouse table lookup, but thats not available to us. Anyone done this before?
many thanks, TM

You may need to make the range you select smaller than 5000. I would do 100 at a time and build an array of all the items in the list. I would than build a second array and populate it with the items that "offer Rye bread". I would build a third array of the items that "don't offer Rye bread".
The second and third array could be used to select the items in the list based on "Got Rye bread" or "Not Got Rye bread".
