Running WinRunner using Remote shell services in WinNT
I have seen one article on the knowledge base in Mercury Support site with id 1-21EX3 (How to run WinRunner remotely). It is using the remote service in the Resource Kit. But I am having difficulties in implementing it. Since I was trying it on my own I didnt contact my NT Admin, which ofcourse is the easy way. I downloaded the Resource Kit from the microsoft site and installed it. But I cannot find the files specified in the article. Moreover I have seen some other articles also on RSHSVC. But in all of them the same thing is said. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm not acquainted with their solution for this. Have you tried writing your own? I wrote an ActiveX dll and exe that allows launching WRun on a specified host. I understand TestDirector now does this. also, if you have access to an old version of LoadRunner - it has rcmdl.exe that will allow you to do this.
