editing checkpoint names
User lee rector (email@example.com) posted:
anyone know how you edit a created checkpoint from inside WinRunner? I
looked for downloads
and utilities at Mercury but did not notice anything available.
ex. obj_check_gui("Repositories User has Rights to Store Documents In:",
"list2.ckl", "gui2", 33);
***when I create the checkpoint I would like to give it some unique name
such as change "gui2" to "UserPrefList" as well as get the change on the
file name in the exp directory under the script "on the fly".
edit the file.

How goes it Mr. Robot:
First backup your work.
1. Change the name of the checkpoint in the script to whatever you want.
2. Change the name of the corresponding file in the chklist directory under
your script. WR expects to find the referenced *.ckl file here
3. Change the name of the corresponding file in the exp\testname directory.
WR expects to find the referenced *.gui file here.
4. If you want to keep two flavors of your expected results, rename your exp
directory to something meaningful and when you start WR tell it via the -exp
command line parameter what expected results folder is appropriate for the
